Blue Cargo Master Establishment of Container Freight Station (CFS) is an ideal to our long term Business partners. The facility located adjacent to Blue Flame Cargo Master Sea Department offices and warehouse complex, and is a fully licensed dry port. The CFS facility comprises 250,000 square feet of open yard and 150,000 square feet of covered warehouses.
The facility is enclosed with a brick perimeter wall secured by an electric fence and motion sensors connected to an alarm system supported by a back-up response situated approximately 500 meters from the complex. The compound is flood–lit with overhead halogen lamps and is secured 24-hours a day, by day and night guards.
There is also dog surveillance at night to ensure that in the unlikely event that an intrusion is not detected, the dogs will detect the intrusion and raise an alert. Security in the facility is therefore, of the highest standards possible given the value of the goods cleared through the facility.
The freight station is designed to handle transfers directly from Kilindini seaport to the CFS upon discharge from the carrier vessels. Upon discharging full container load (FCL) and less than container load (LCL) cargoes from carrier vessels, we clear them through the Kenya Port Authority Container Terminal and immediately transfer them to our CFS located just 500 meters from Kenya Ports Authority. We then off-load the container and de-stuff the goods where applicable and undertake the customs procedures such as verification.
Blue Flame Cargo Master is ideal for imported vehicles and machinery to safeguard the respective importer from the prevalent pilferage at the Kilindini seaport area. All statutory authorities including resident Customs Officer, Port Health, Port Police and Kenya Bureau of Standards personnel have offices within the CFS. They work together with our staff to facilitate swift and efficient clearance of goods, consequently saving importers from unnecessary bureaucratic delays and costs.
